The rules:

1. You may only attempt to catch the first Pokemon you encounter on each map.
• You may not catch the same Pokemon species more than once, if you encounter a species you’ve already caught you get a 2nd try to get a different Pokemon.
• You may catch and use shiny Pokemon if you find any, the rules above do not count for these.
• Legendary Pokemon may not be used.
2. If one of your Pokemon faints it is considered dead and you may no longer use it.
3. You may not use healing items such as Potions during battles; Berries are fine if carried by the Pokemon.

I finished reading A Clash of Kings (A Song of Ice and Fire #2) yesterday and I have to say that it was pretty amazing. Great writing, great story; Can’t wait to read the next book!

And I will read it next <3. A Storm of Swords. I’ve seen people say it’s the best of the series so far. I wouldn’t know yet, but I have great expectations. I’ve started reading it yesterday and I’ve already finished 100 pages, which is about 10% of the book.
Lets see how long this will take me, I know the first two books took me a long time =w=.

And there is more! I still had a gift coupon for one of our local book stores, so I bought myself a copy of the 5th book of the series (A Dance with Dragons)… better early before I don’t have it when I’m done with the 4th xD.
No really, actually I just wanted to have it to have it.
And I bought this beauty!

Volume 1 of the graphic novel of A Game of Thrones, which covers part of the first book.
Though I have to admit, unless you really, really like the series you don’t need to buy this if you’ve watched the series. But the graphics are great and it’s probably nice to read to get into the story, if the books are too much for you .

Though there’s still the series of course. And I’ve just watched the first 2 episodes of season 2! And I can only recommend this to anyone, watch it, it’s so good. Even if you havn’t read the books, watch the series (it’s only 10 episodes of 1 hour per season.) And I’m sure afterwards you’ll want to read the books, because it’s so awesome.

Now on to something less awesome, but still great.
There’s a great hype about this going on right now and as I’ve read the books and really enjoyed them, I had to watch the movie as well… I’m talking about The Hunger Games of course .

And there it is!
Well, I always find it hard to like a movie when I read the book before watching it.
Can’t say I disliked The Hunger Games though.
The actors were good. Perfectly matching their roles in my opinion. The only one I imagined differently was Snow, but I can live with the movie choice.
Here’s the thing I always dislike with movie adaptions, it was too short, some things were moving too quickly. Though I had to remind myself, the first book was moving really quickly at the beginning as well, up to when the tributes were choosen.
However. Sometimes they were talking way to fast, it seemed a little unreal at times. Though I watched it in German and that might be a problem of the Germa version only, I don’t know.
There are two more things that were bothering me, firstly, where Katniss got her pin from. I mean, reaally? Did they really have to cut out that character? Meh, oh well, can live with that.
Secondly the parts with Rue were too short. It wouldn’t have been hard to include that small sentence where Rue says that thing about how she never got a full leg (or whatever it was) to eat or something, especially since they were already showing the eating scene. I found it hilarious though when (I don’t remember if it was Katniss or Rue) said “I’ll see you for dinner!” or something along those lines. Made me giggle a little.
Anyways, what I disliked was that they didn’t include the part were Katniss gets the bread from district 11. Instead they show a riot starting in that district, which, in the book, doesn’t even happen at that point. And, in my opinion, they should have left it out and just added that in the next movie. Though I can understand why they did it that way, I still dislike it.

I also think that some parts might have been hard to understand if you havn’t read the books. Like what Katniss, or other characters, were thinking in certain situations. Though they worked great with mimic and stuff. But in the book you have her thoughts and in the movie you didn’t. It might have been great to implement those at some part, which would have obviously changed the movie a lot, but it might have been good.
Obviously I can’t say this for sure as I’ve read the book and I havn’t had the chance to talk to someone who hasn’t read the first book but watched the movie.

In summary this is a great movie. If you liked the books you will most likely like the movie as well. And if you havn’t read the books yet, you will still like it. It’s worth watching by all means .

I started watching two “new” animes.

Fairy Tail! I started reading the Manga a long, long time ago. Never read much of it and yesterday I somehow thought I might as well start watching the Anime. Well, why not .
I’m at episode 8 so far and it’s pretty good. Action, comedy, this Anime has it all.
Though it’s just one of those typical shounen anime. But the art is okay, the characters are fun…
And well, if you like One Piece ( I do!) you will like this one as well, because it’s pretty much the same. Just that instead of pirates it has mages.

Anyways, I also started watching…

Pokemon, Best Wishes! Oh no, how could I!? Oh well, I had to. This is the series about the 5th Gen of Pokemon by the way, for those who don’t know .
And Satoshi is STILL 10! He’ll never grow up.
Anyways, the art has improved soo much, though I havn’t really watched the past seasons. Didn’t watch the one of the 4th Gen because the people accompanying Satoshi were way too annoying, what’s with that stupid Piplup for example?
Well if you like Pokemon watch a few episodes, it’s a nice thing if you are bored at least.

As I’m already talking about Pokemon, I’ve started a White Nuzlocke, yay! I’ve got a few pages sketched already, though they really aren’t that good, but I’m sure it will help me improve some XD. If you don’t know what a Nuzlocke is, it’s basically a harder way to play the Pokemon games. There are two basic rules:

You may only attempt to catch the first Pokemon you encounter in every area.
If a Pokemon fainted it dies and you can no longer use it.

I added a few more rules for myself, but those are the basic ones every Nuzlocke needs to have. Guess I’ll write more about this when I’ll upload a few of the comic pages though .

Now on to the last thing I wanted to write about.
I was finally able to join POTTERMORE.
How long did it take them to open it now? I’m sure they said it should have been open like 6 or 7 months ago =_=.
Oh well, it doesn’t matter anymore
So I just joined the site and got in a house and guess what? I got to choose. Between Slytherin and… Hufflepuff. Oh how much I wanted to be in Ravenclaw and how much I really never ever wanted to be in Hufflepuff. But I definitelly didn’t want to be in Slytherin either that much was for sure. Soo… Hufflepuff it was, too bad -.-;
So from today on I’m a “proud” member of Hufflepuff.

And I’ll end this post by telling you that if you’ve been waiting to join Pottermore you should do so now . I might write a detailed opinion about it later, but not now haha.

MacBeth and Child of God are for university. I’m already through Child of God, it was pretty good, not too long either with only about 200 pages! And I’m currently reading Matched.
1984 and the The Infernal Devices Series were recommended to me by friends and I’ll probably read Clockwork Angel when I’m done with Matched, though I’m not sure yet.
The Passage and Sorry where books I thought were interesting when I took a look at them at my local book store, so I was like I might as well get them as they were pretty cheap .

Anyways, we went to the library today, got a few books there as well.

More random choices here, just took a few that looked nice or had a promising text on the back.
So yeesss, might say a few words about them when I read one, or I might even write a review, I don’t know yet.

I also bought one more book in town today.

This has been on my wishlist for a while now, I really hope it’s good =w=.

On another note I started playing Mass Effect, yay!

But I’m sure it will take me ages to complete this and then ME2 and ME3 =_=. I’m not good at shooters, not at all.
Oh well, it’s Bioware, it has romance options, so I had to play it sooner or later xD.

As I’m trying to reduce the amount of books from the library I still have at home right now I continued with the one above, although I really, really want to read Hana (by Lauren Oliver). Oh well, guess that will teach me to get so many books at a time.

So back to the book.

Master of the Fallen Chairs is about a boy named Kim who moves to his uncle after his mother died. Soon, however, he notices that the House of Skirl is anything but normal and holds a horrible secret that threatens not only his life.
The book is mysterious and fun to read.
The characters are interesting, though I really dislike Kim’s attitude at some points of the book.
I like how they are slowly discovering the magic that happens around them. Though I have to say that the book could have been more exciting. It’s missing something that makes it special, something that holds the reader.

I would have wished that this wasn’t the first part of a series, because I will not get another part of it. The book leaves a lot of things open at the end, which comes pretty sudden and doesn’t even cover what the whole book was leading to. That being said the ending disappointed me.

I would maybe recommend this book to a younger audience and people who like reading about ghosts and mysterious places.

All in all I’m giving this a rating of 3/5.
